proper maintenance & care for your jewelry
Jewelry Cleaning & Inspecting
There is No Fee for this service and we encourage you to bring your jewelry for cleaning and inspection on a regular basis.
A diamond's brilliance is best when the maximum amount of light enters and reflects off the facets. Since diamonds get smudged, oily, and dusty, a little care and cleaning can keep them looking good. Lotions, powders, soaps, hand sanitizers, and natural oil from your skin can affect the brilliance of your diamond.
We advise you not to wear your rings when doing rough work. Diamonds are the hardest material in nature, but can still be chipped by a sharp or sudden blow. Also, chlorine discolors and damages the mounting causing it to crack. Keep away from chlorine and other household chemicals. While sleeping, bed sheets can act as an abrasive causing the prongs to wear.
