the best grooms gift ever created!

The original idea started with the bride wanting to take the grooms breath away with a gift he would never expect.  This is what she created.....

Have a sterling silver belt buckle custom made, set with diamonds, garnet, and onyx.  Also containing custom engraving or sandblasting using some of the following:  year of the wedding or full date, last name, nickname, or phrase.  We both agreed that the last name was the most important aspect of the piece.  Being able to use the font that was incorporated within the program and party favors makes this piece even more memorable.

Working around the last name as the center piece gave us the following possibilities...

The final choice was the 3rd option. 
Sandblast the text into the belt buckle.
Blue circles indicate where we were going to set round brilliant cut diamonds.
Set one garnet and one onyx on each side of the year (MMXIII).
